MSEA ELECTIONS

Click the link above to vote in the MSEA Officers Election and the NEA-Alaska Statewide election.  MSEA opens January 25th and closes January 31st at 5:00pm.  Call the office at 373-5204 or 274-0536 if you do not know your member ID number.  

Follow the directions carefully on each of the links. You'll need to be able to print out the Borough application.

1. Register to Vote

If you're already registered to vote, you can skip this section. Register to Vote online or print  a paper registration form and mail it in.  If you're not sure if you're already registered, go ahead and update your registration. It doesn't hurt.
Deadline to register to vote in the Primary election is July 19
Deadline to register to vote in the General election is October 4
Don't wait to register. Do it now!

2. Request an absentee ballot from the Mat-Su Borough (if you are a Borough resident)

Request an Absentee By-mail Ballot for the Mat-Su Borough elections. Print out the application and mail, fax, or hand deliver it to the Borough Clerk's Office. The deadline for applications being received is October 27th. Don't wait until then. Do it now!

3. Request an absentee ballot from the State of Alaska

Request an Absentee Ballot for the State of Alaska elections. If you have a valid Alaska drivers license or  State ID, you can apply for an absentee ballot online.   You also have the  option to print out the application and submit it through mail, fax,  or email. The deadline for applications being received is October 20th. Don't wait until then. Do it now!

4. Check your mail.

Look for your ballots in the mail. You'll receive your ballots 1-2 weeks before the election. Make sure to fill them out (vote) and mail them back.
